Yes, it's that time of year! We're goin' on a holiday, and we hope you are too. Thanks so much for coming along to the gigs throughout 2017 and making all our nights out Top Nights Out!
Since the last update we've had some fantastic summer evenings out and about, and we must give a special mention to the good people of Bombala, who made us so welcome last weekend.

Wh'appen??? Turn our backs for a second and it's glorious Spring weather and we're going into a run of great Topshelf gigs in October!
Most recently a beautiful warm September evening down at Rose Cottage ... another public holiday, as it goes. Well, maybe there were plenty of our fellow Canberrans down the coast - who knows? All we knew for sure was that there were a LOT of party people out enjoying the weather and the atmosphere.
The evening went by all too quickly, but great fun all round - and a packed dancefloor all the way from Cougar to the Choirboys, just the way we like it.

So ... June long weekend ... bit dead, right? Everyone down the coast?
Well, maybe, but Topshelf seem to be Canberra's own public holiday specialists because (not for the first time) we had the joint rocking! The joint in question was Rose Cottage - playing in the glasshouse for a change, log fire burning brightly and the five of us Tetris'd together on the bijou stage.
A big shout out to the crowds from Orange and Oberon (now THOSE towns might've been that bit less lively on Saturday night without this lot around ...).

It's been a lot of fun getting this new website together. One or two of us have some IT experience, but none in actual web design ... or at least none that anyone's prepared to own up to!
We'll be keeping this Blog as up to date as we can, but don't forget our Facebook page, which is always packed with news and photos. See the link at the bottom, under "Follow Us".
Looking back on the year so far, it's actually been quite a few months since we last played at Rose Cottage. In fact, the problem at that time was keeping ourselves cool in the middle of summer ... not something we'll have to worry about this Saturday night! A couple of years ago it would have been hard to imagine setting up and playing on that main stage on a June evening, but it's really warm and snug since they put in the big alterations down there.
